We’re supported by the U.S. Embassy, The Hague

Great news!

Ancestors unKnown has received funding from the U.S. Embassy, The Hague to support the pilot and growth of Ancestors unKnown in The Netherlands! Embassy_logo_300x234The U.S. government supports our mission to introduce young people to the world’s untold histories by incorporating our history and genealogy research curriculum into Dutch classrooms.

This is a wonderful opportunity for us to invest in program development and partnership support, now and in the coming school year. We’ll be expanding and translating the curriculum, inviting more guest lecturers to Ancestors unKnown classrooms, and encouraging collaboration between Ancestors schools in The Netherlands and the U.S.

It’s an incredible step for our young organization. And we’re looking forward to the many new opportunities this new partnership will bring.
