Ancestors unKnown has developed an incredible curriculum and program model that’s introducing young people to their own histories and their own ancestors. It’s an innovative approach to addressing problems that have plagued the globe for generations: overlooked histories, forgotten ancestors, and impersonal history education. So what’s the problem? We need to reach more students in 2015!
How can we reach more students in 2015? Well, additional funding would help us to do our jobs and curb costs for our partner organizations, allowing for easy adoption. And this is where you come in.
Of course you can ALWAYS make a tax-deductible donation. And even cooler? Until December 22, a $25 raffle ticket buys you a chance to win a personalized meal from Charleston’s Chef BJ Dennis, a passionate and talented chef who specializes in Gullah-Geechee cuisine ($300 value!). And Chef BJ is donating 100% of the proceeds to Ancestors unKnown! This is a special treat for our supporters in the Lowcountry (but open to everyone).
